Join BWS CO for a volunteer opportunity at the Trailhead Townhomes in Woodland Park, CO.
The Trailhead Townhomes Habitat for Humanity project in Teller County, CO has been progressing steadily. Construction has begun on the third duplex of 9 in the community. Build With Strength Colorado is committed to partnering with the local Habitat for Humanity group and the contractors to continue the swift construction of the 18 units.
CRMCA and Teller County Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a volunteer event on Thursday, October 21. RSVP to volunteer!
The morning will kick off with a key ceremony, presenting the new homeowners with the keys to their newly constructed concrete home. All CRMCA Board members, along with Teller County Habitat for Humanity staff and Board members and other city representatives have been invited to attend.
Lunch will follow the key ceremony and then a volunteer opportunity will kick off! All are invited to attend to assist the Habitat for Humanity team with further construction on the third town home unit.
Volunteer Day Agenda:
9:30-10:30 am: Key Ceremony*
10:30 am: Ribbon-cutting
11:00 – 11:45 am: Lunch and Networking
11:45-12:00 pm: Onsite Training with Contractor for volunteers
12:00 – 4:00 pm: Volunteer Opportunity
*Keys to the newly finished units will be presented to homeowners. Representatives from NRMCA, CRMCA and Habitat for Humanity will be in attendance.
