Todd Ohlheiser gives updates on the association as we approach the new season.

Rich Umbel, CRMCA Board President, focuses on the Governmental Affairs Committee, their efforts in the securing long-term infrastructure funding at both the federal and state levels as well as the DRIVE Act's provision to make ready mixed industry's 30-minute break rule exemption permanent. He also discusses ways in which the members can get involved.

It has come to the attention of the association that many ready mixed concrete drivers have been put in potentially dangerous situations when working with concrete pumps. We continue to stay focused and promoting concrete through educating not only within our membership but with collaborating and working with other industry associations and the first half of the year has shown the success and outreach we have accomplished.
