Hello CRMCA members.  As we approach the official Christmas Season, I wish nothing but the best for everyone.  We have much to be thankful for while living in a great place like Colorado.  It’s almost Christmas Eve, so time for all you procrastinators to start shopping!!  Great isn’t it?!  Here are a few other things going on.

  • Earlier this month we had a very successful Insulating Concrete Forms (ICF) training session.  This is important as we need to get the projects built if we are to grow the mid to high rise concrete building segment.  Concrete contractors, masons and framers were in attendance in Denver to learn how their trade can work with ICFs to enhance their competitiveness in today’s construction environment. To accomplish this, CRMCA and the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association partnered to offer this course to provide training to local contractors and architects to give them the tools and resources to build with of the fastest growing building systems on the market – ICFs.  Thank you to James Bodgan, Derek Torres, Chris Dagosta with NRMCA and Kent Yonkers with Logix for offering a day of training that officially certified building professionals in Denver to build using new and growing ICF technology.
  • Coming up in January are two great events.  First is the ever popular CRMCA Night at the Rodeo on Thursday, Jan 16 as part the National Western Stock Show.  We will again tour and dine at the Forney Museum ahead of time.  Plan to participate!
  • Also, on January on 23 and 24 is the second annual Ski Retreat.  We will be going to Breckenridge for a reception on Thursday, and then a day on the slopes that Friday.  Discounted room rates are available through the CRMCA/CSSGA room block.  Click here to register.
  • Lastly, the final pictures are now available from the CRMCA/CSSGA Joint Annual Conference at the Broadmoor.  I encourage you to check them out and consider sharing them on your social media.

I want to conclude by thanking all our members, and the great staff at CRMCA that work to make this all happen.  Without the involvement of you as members, and the dedication of Annelise, JT and Emma, this could not happen.  Thanks again and have a safe and enjoyable Holiday Season!!!!!!!!
