December 2021 President’s Update

I hope you had the opportunity to attend our annual conference in November. We hosted a full slate of talented and charismatic speakers, focusing on the things that mean the most to our businesses:  safety, sustainability, promotion and education. We presented our annual awards to the many folks who continue to go above and beyond the call of duty to make our industry shine so brightly. And perhaps most importantly, we hosted robust networking opportunities, which have become a hallmark of our annual conference. It has never been more apparent that merging the CRMCA and CSSGA so many years ago was the right decision; we are stronger together. I would be remiss if I did not recognize the CRMCA and CSSGA staff for planning, organizing and executing such a fantastic meeting. Thank you, Todd Ohlheiser, Annelise Shepherd, Emma Dolan and JT Mesite.

This was a successful year on so many fronts. We continued to provide the backbone to our State’s strong economy. Looking ahead to 2022, I encourage you to join us at the Association as we communicate the sustainable benefits of building with concrete.

Thank you to our Board of Directors for your steady leadership. And, thank you to our members for your continued support. I sincerely hope the holiday season brings good health and prosperity to you and your loved ones.

Please read on for highlights from the 2021 annual conference.
